Marketing - "Yesterday and Now"

You might be tired of hearing "It's time to go global" but I'd like to say it's time to change your business mentality to en-cash the secret of business success in fact it's the time to get updated to go global. I'm sure you have had experience of some drastic change in the marketing trend recently or lately and you know this is all because of client retention to get some more referring clients from them. Mr. Philip Kotler said "Customer is the King" I think it is because one satisfied customer can bring two more and that two more can bring a bunch of customers and this chain can create a viral marketing concept.

Conclusion
• Time Consuming

• More Efforts

• Expensive

But it was a game of old days, things have been changed now.

Social Media Marketing - A Game of What? Why? How? And When?

Social Media Marketing - What?

As this day or age technology is getting more advanced and regularly come up with more facilities which we have barely given any thought of it.

Technology can be so fruitful if it will be used in an appropriate manner. And so, SMO is one of those terminology which gives us a tribute of some kind but only when we know how to handle it.

Moreover, social media marketing is a broader concept that includes SMO and there is no such specific definition on it, however I can elaborate it in thousands of words but in brief social media is the use of technologies to co-create social realities, know, like, trust.

Furthermore social media is that hot tribute which is quite popular amongst all marketers as it is a rich set of new tools to help in their efforts to generate a business lead.

Social Media Marketing - Why?

SMO - A game of brand exposure and much more... How many of you looking for a brand exposure and for what? • For business leads • For the sake of business goodwill. • For product or services exposure. Whatsoever reason you will be having, the overall conclusion is that your business will be able to get more revenue at the end of the month.

Social Media Marketing - How?

Social media optimization as there are 3 major, hot & popular social media sites are available, at first phase optimizes them.

• Facebook

• Twitter

• LinkedIn

Foremost and Essential Step

As social media marketing is an integrated process so it is quite imperative to integrate all the above 3 social media sites with each other like wise: If you are tweeting something on twitter that will automatically become a post for Facebook and as same for LinkedIn.

Build up your business theme related networks and exchange the level of your expertise with them because SMO is all about of 4 C's: • Content • Context • Communities • Communication

Even more you can do:
• If you are well versed with blogging do add your blog with the above mentioned sites.

• Popularize your latest feeds via RSS feed submission.

• Do write compelling & unique classified adverts and amplify that in your geographical location if any.

• Amplify your articles in different and famous articles directory sites such as EzineArticles.

• Amplify your press release.

• Amplify your newsletter with adding enhancing features of tweet-meme button or any of your favorite social networking sites buttons (Must have good Alexa ranking).

• Amplify your pod-casting if any.

• Video optimization and amplify it on: YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and even on more...

Do amplify all the above suggestions on the three major social networking sites: i.e. Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn.

Social Media Marketing - When?

Today is the best day to start.

My Review about Combination of SMO & SEO

What relation I observed between SEO and SMO? SEO helps you to get organic traffic - Leads conversion rate higher. SMO = Helps you to get referring traffic and brand exposure beside helping SEO to push- up ranking to get good conversion rate. SEO = Conversion rate SEO + SMO = highly conversion rate/brand exposure/top Google ranking.

The Beautiful Image

The Gate Xmas TV campaign 2010

Well, finally found the time to write something interesting...and then must find time to swing by to The Corner House for a natter and a cuppa with everybody.

Just caught sight finally on ITV1 The Gate's new TV commercial running for the next month. We spent a brilliant, fun Sunday shooting all the footage onsite - all still photography to enable us to create that trendy HD slow-mo effect. The best bit was, my eldest daughter got to make her TV debut - and will be alongside Cheryl and Wagner on Saturday night at 9.45pm - result!

I wish you all well and look forward to meeting some of the members of this terrific network of fellow creatives.

All the best

Paul

Flyers Alias Leaflets the original cost effective way to advertise.

leafletsflyersNever underestimate the power of the humble flyer. It’s a vital element for any new or established business, looking to promoting a new service or product.. You can target specific geographical areas or even target right outside your shop, office, showroom, restaurant or takeaway. Helping to spread your sales message to the masses, and tempt them to come into your premieres to take a look or try out your services.

A5 size is usually recommended as the most convenient and economical size and now with digit printing techniques it can be full colour both sides for what use to be the price of simple single and spot colour price.

A good quality gloss paper heavy enough to stop the show through will make your two sided leaflet gets the message across quickly and effectively.

Think about what images or illustrations you can use this helps the flyer to be more inviting and attractive. Also think about the colours you want to use. For example if you have a cafe perhaps browns and greens to represent wholesome and fresh food include a mouth watering image of a cake or sandwich. If its carpets or furniture think of cool blues and a good image of happy smiling families, As they say sell the sizzle not the bacon.

This will all help the design and layout as they are crucial to your success make sure the header part of the leaflet has the ‘Hook’ or ‘Offer’ the better the Hook the stronger the up take. Use a Gift or a really good discount. The middle parts of the leaflet are for the finer details but try and keep this to bullet points, don’t over kill with lots of copies, get people to come and ask you questions about your product or service. Once you have them talking to you can close the deal.

The bottom section is the call to action area. Try saying it’s a limited offer, and they must respond by a today or have a cut of date. This will help speed up your response. It’s also the place for your Web address email telephone number office, showroom or shop address and your company logo. If you’re distributing away from you place of business, a good map and directions will help increase your response. Remember people will not buy your logo, unless it's a recognized nationally or International; brand so keep it away from the top. The Offer or Hook is the most important message. This is what will get your sales going, so give it Star billing.

If you need help with design contact the below, and you’ll be very surprised at the low cost prices for quality colour leaflet printing.

The battle between the SEO experts and search engines is ongoing from the time when the first search engine was introduced. All the companies want their websites to reach the top searches which can benefit their business and bring in more visitors. Search engine keywords can be assessed as one of the most relevant factors which can enhance your search engine rankings.

Search engines always crawl, read and index only the text. For the search engines, symbols, flash content or images are absolutely irrelevant. Therefore, you need to develop original, updated and grammatically correct content. If your content contains relevant search engine keywords and phrases, your rankings will dramatically increase in different search engines result pages (SERPs).

Your target customers will type on the search engine keywords to discover your website and products displayed on the internet. Therefore, before you start writing for any article or website content, it’s imperative that your search for the right search engine keywords. Finding the appropriate keywords is easy with the internet at your service and a little imagination. For instance, if you are in the business of selling business cards, the most popular searches done by the people will be “cheap business cards”, “professional business cards”, “business card printing”, “free business cards”, “premium business cards”, “business cards” and so on. You can create a list of the most relevant search engine keywords after a brainstorming session and through a little bit of research.

After choosing the right search engine keywords you can position them in the most strategic where they hold maximum chances of getting read, crawled and indexed by the search engine spiders. You can use the search engine keywords in the headings, directory’s name, files names, in the first and last paragraph and other locations.

The search engines have been cautioned by the constant high usage and even abuse of the Meta Tags by the website owners. To tackle this issue, they use technical algorithms and tools to scan the web pages. As a consequence, the result pages appear far cleaner. But this has posed great problems for the website owners. If they unnecessarily stuff their websites with keywords to enhance their rankings, this can have negative effects. Here, the importance of SEO professionals comes to play! They are well versed with the right techniques to blend off-page and on-page tactics to maximize the results. With their help you can strategically place your keywords without any problems or issues.

If you have the relevant set of search engine keywords placed in adequate density and prominence, then you have already won half of the battle!

How to optimise your website with SiteBuilder DIY

How to optimise your website

Search engine optimisation isn’t just about the metatags and links. It’s important to use your keywords to create the right content to optimise your website and allow Google, Yahoo, Bing and other search engines to recognise which search results you want it included in.

We've put together a quick guide to give you a better understanding

Keyword density
Use your selected relevant keywords or phrases frequently in your copy, search engines will pick up the words or phrases which are relevant to your website. Be careful you don’t get carried away and overuse the keywords, for every one hundred words you should have at least two relevant keywords.
Headings and H tags
Search engines place more emphasis on headings - the text which goes between the < H1 >, < H2 > and the < H3 > tags – you can really pack your text with keywords but make sure it doesn’t end up sounding strange. Using keywords in links
Linking to other pages within your website will help to boost your pages rankings, use the keyword you are targeting on that page as your link text. Search engines like keywords to be near the top of the page, be careful you don’t fall into the trap of creating links at the top of your page as these can be distracting and in some cases the user can click off the page before they have even read it.

If you're looking to revamp your website or start a new business online we're offer free website planning sessions. We'll listen to what you want and offer friendly practical advice on how this can be achieved.

I look forward to hearing from you.
